One of the msot important parts of this process is having the final film synopsis written down so that it is available to refer to all throughout the rest of this process as a firm document that can put me back on track if I lose sight.
The female character walks across the stone way up some steps and leans a wall reading her book; the male character was stood up above the walkway taking pictures of the beautiful scenery out towards the rocks and the sea. He is a photographer. Whilst doing this his camera focuses in onto the female character moving across to the shelter, which he recognises and immediately rushes down to her. When he gets down to the bottom where she is he starts to talk, rambling into a monologue. We can tell that the female character is about to speak but she doesn’t get a chance and he carries on talking about how he feels that there could be something there and he thinks it could work. But he is shocked when the female character replies with ‘who are you?’

The male character is taken aback and shocked that the female character obviously does not recognise who he is when he knows who she is. He tells her how they know each other, and she still does not recognise him, so he gives in, apologises and walks away. Just before he turns to walk away he gives her his business card and tells her to call if she ever remembers. She takes the card and he walks away. After he has just left, the female character stands there for a moment looking at the card until she suddenly remembers something and goes into her bag for her purse. She goes into her purse and pulls out the exact same card as the one that she is holding in her hand.
She chucks the purse back into her bag and runs up to where the male character is still walking away. She walks up beside him hands him back the card and tells him that she doesn’t think she will need it, whilst holding the other card clearly in her other hand for him to see.
Now that this piece of work is completed I am able to start working on actually getting this narrative onto film, finding actors, working out a storyboard and costumes ect. This piece of work is a stepping stone from research and planning into practical making of the final product.
